Dear T.R.I.B.E. Friends,

"If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will heal you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you."

Book of Thomas Nag Hammadi Scrolls

We are living  in a time of dangerous opportunity. That is a definition of a crisis.

It is up to us to figure out how to turn the danger of this very heightened moment into an opportunity for the healing of humankind…and I believe we can do it.

No matter how bad things get,  love is always the answer.

Not the kind of love that is superficial or romantic, but agape love... unconditional love for one another beyond our differences. And that is sometimes hard to muster.

Here are 3 WAYS that love can change the whole game between now and November.

1. Cultivate Curiosity. ASK PEOPLE QUESTIONS!  Don’t Just Yell at Them!

So many of us are feeling triggered, and are flinging accusations and preconceptions at each other. It is causing terrible pain, and worse.

People are fascinating really, and the way we learn about one another is to assume we actually don’t know a lot.

2. Give People the Benefit of the Doubt.

People are so triggered right now, and are reacting out of fear. If we can assume that we are all basically looking for love and acceptance, polarized triggered reactiveness won’t be all we share with one another.

3. Study and Learn About History

ALL Americans were kept from officially knowing the history of race in the U.S.

School curriculums didn’t tell the truth about slavery, or about the aftermath that continually pulled rights and access and dignity away from generations..

African Americans knew all about how they were being discriminated against in housing and education and economically and basic human rights, but you would never learn it from a text book.

When Roots came out in January of 1977, even many African Americans learned new things about their history in Africa and the terrible injustice of slavery in the U.S., and certainly many White Americans were educated about it for the first time too.

One way we can honor each other and really change the world NOW is to study and learn, so that we can be assured that the many things that have been hidden will come into the light of day.

And as this torrent of painful history comes forth, we can be healers by remembering that loving one another is the most radical act of defiance.

Bring forth the love that  is within you and be a healer, be a teacher, be a learner!

We Are Family

Sending love across the quantum field.
